Thirty Seconds to Mars


The Californian band 30 Seconds to Mars announced on Monday, which will perform three shows in Brazil in May, part of a South American tour that also includes presentations in Chile, Peru and Argentina. Priced between R $ 70 and R $ 400, tickets go on sale on the 14th, in Rio, on the 17th, in São Paulo, and on the 20th, in Brasília.
Founded in 1998 by actor, singer and guitarist Jared Leto and his brother Shannon Leto drummer, 30 Seconds to Mars still has in its formation guitarist and keyboardist Tomo Miličević, and has performed in Brazil in 2007, 2011 and 2013, when it was one of the attractions of Rock in Rio.

Charlie Brown Jr. (also abbreviated as CBJR) was a Brazilian band formed in the year 1992 Santos mixed several rhythms like rock, hardcore, reggae, rap, punk skate, creating a unique style. His lyrics criticized the perspective of contemporary young universe society. All band members were born in the city of Santos, except Chorão singer, who was born in São Paulo.

On March 6, 2013, the founding member Weeper died in his apartment in São Paulo due to an overdose of cocaine and alcohol. The remaining band members decided to no longer use the name Charlie Brown Jr., so moving to Banking, intent on preserving the memory of Chorão with the old name and honor him.
At dawn on September 9, 2013, after little more than six months of the death of Chorao, former bassist Charlie Brown Jr. and hitherto vocalist of the newly founded band Banking, Champignon was found dead at his home in São Paulo with a shot to the head, most likely suicide.

ABBEY ROAD MAY NEED A GUARDIAN OF TRANSIT

After dealing with several decades of pedestrians crowding in Abbey Road, local officials are considering hiring a crossing guard to try to keep Beatles fans are bowled over by motorists. 

The BBC reports that the city council of Westminster recently met to discuss the possibility, citing a representative who took great care to emphasize that no decisions have yet been taken: "Local councilors Abbey Road collected the concerns of residents about their the number of tourists in the middle of the road near the crossing and at the peak of the summer season, and indicated several suggestions on the safety of pedestrians and crowd control, "he said. "On the other hand, no proposal received full agreement of the board or its full review." 

In 2010 the British government appointed a crosswalk as a landmark of the town, a status typically reserved for historic buildings. "This crosswalk shaped zebra in London is not a castle or a cathedral." Explained the minister of heritage, John Penrose. "But thanks to the Beatles and a photo session of 10 minutes one morning in August 1969, she has a strong claim to be regarded as part of our heritage."

Planet Hemp _\|/_


Planet Hemp is a Brazilian rap rock band created by Marcelo D2 and Skunk in 1993 in Rio de Janeiro, with the original members D2, Skunk, Rafael Crespo, BNegão, Formigão and Cod. The group has an explicit position in favor of legalizing cannabis (marijuana) and was accused of condoning the use, a fact that generated a lot of debate and put the Planet Hemp as one of the leading bands in Brazil in the late 1990. The band returned to gather on the stage, on October 20, 2010 at a party hosted by MTV Brazil celebrating 20 years of the station in Brazil.
